First, let us explain our name. Anyone familiar with Terschelling—or who went to school in the Netherlands—knows that the Brandaris is a lighthouse: the oldest actively operating coastal light in the country. Robust, stable, and vigilant. The Brandaris helps sailors look ahead and safely navigate ships past sandbanks. As cyber experts, this is something we strongly identify with. Hence the name.
Brandaris is a fresh player in the field of cybersecurity—new, but with a wealth of individual experience. A dynamic team that optimizes your organization’s digital security—big or small—with real expertise. We also thrive on complex challenges, so bring it on!
With every assignment, we pursue the most to-the-point strategy. Our starting point: what does your organization truly need? We don’t sell unnecessary products or create dependency if you can continue on your own. We often take a different view—exactly the reason we started Brandaris.

Holds—for those in the know—certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, C|EH, CRISC, C|HFI, and ISO 27001 Lead Implementer. Had the name Brandaris in mind for quite some time—and has now brought it to life.
Broadly educated as an IT professional and gradually developed a fascination for cybersecurity. Worked as a manager in Security Operations Centers (SOCs), then started out as a freelancer, and is now part of Brandaris. He’s driven to truly help organizations by providing targeted services—and doesn’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. That mindset is Brandaris through and through.
Active in cybersecurity for over ten years, in roles ranging from managed services engineer and SOC analyst to SOC team lead and security consultant. Strongly values the motto: do it well or not at all. With a solid set of certifications in his backpack, he helps companies climb higher on the ladder of information security.
