A critical situation in February 2025 prompted me to contact Maikel Roolvink. By that time, we had already known for a while that our company had been hacked. Our IT provider at the time had promised to resolve the issue, but ultimately proved unable to deliver on that promise.

In fact, I discovered myself that the hackers were still present in our systems. My IT provider's response was to recommend building an entirely new IT environment for our company. What was I supposed to do? I had received Maikel's phone number from an acquaintance, but by then it was already Friday evening. As it turned out, Maikel had also received my number and gave me a call. To my surprise, and great relief, he offered to come by that same evening.

We worked on the issue late into the night, but by then it was resolved! By that point, I had naturally lost all confidence in my previous IT provider. How was it possible that I, with no technical background, had to point out that something was wrong? With Maikel, it was immediately clear that he truly understood this field. He also explained that there was absolutely no need to replace our entire IT environment. He could already see exactly what was happening and strengthen our technical security accordingly.

Since then, Brandaris has continued to support and monitor our environment. As a result, our confidence in our digital systems has been fully restored.
